So, let me tell you...
My bomber jacket collection is growing slowly but surely, with this snazzy army green embroidered patches jacket from Romwe. I've been wanting a jacket like this since I was old enough to know that patches were "a thing" and lo and behold here we are. I paired this patched bomber with that black slip dress that I have (previously seen here). I'll let you in on a little secret, once I put on the dress, coupled with the extremely high thigh-high socks the lengths were not blending well AT ALL. So I rolled down the thigh-highs to make them knee highs, gathered and clamped the back of the dress at the waist (with one of those binder clips), and voila - I had the proportions that I was looking for. However, I will admit that there was a slight kink in binder clip waist cinching dress plan. When I sat down, I had to be aware of how I was sitting, because the fabric is so silky it came out of the clip a couple times that day; creating a minor flaw in my stealthy plan - but shh... I won't tell if you won't. ;)
I didn't plan on taking my jacket off at any point because fortunately, this jacket is pretty lightweight. It worked out perfectly. It's light enough for me to wear during the warmer temperatures that we Angelinos have been experiencing during the day yet warm enough for when the temps drop down in the evenings. I love the existing patchwork, and I would like to add a few more patches to this in the future. I was going to do it to one of my denim jackets, but since this one is already started for me, I think I'll just follow suit.
I hope you're having a lovely Sunday. Thanks for visiting. xo
