So, let me tell you...
You already know about my obsession with off the shoulder things - along with my affinity to turn things into the ever evolving trend. Well, this little black wrap dress was no exception. Side note, this is my first wrap dress and I feel like I'm on my way to really adulting right. haha The wrap dress is such a flattering fit for practically every shape. It's an easy throw on and go look. This particular wrap dress is from Banana Republic. I love the floaty feels this design gives off with the flounced hem and the flutter sleeves. I don't think it was intended to be worn off the shoulder, but once I tried it, there was no going back that day. I was in a bit of a sexy but caj kind of mood, so paired this dress with my favorite loafers at the moment (additional side note, these shoes also come in a slingback design... tempting).
I manipulated the wrap just a bit to create more of a split. Also, I tucked the original belt strings underneath my belt so that they couldn't be seen.
For a pop of color I used one of my grandmother's old belts. It's one of my favorite belts of hers. I've always loved the woven print. It has that 70s ish vibe to it that I can't get enough of.
The little black dress that will be with me for seasons to come.
