So, let me tell you...
Whenever I pair colors up that are out of my "norm" I'm always so delighted by the outcome. For instance, this light blue and light pink combo is a new mixture for me. Sometimes when I'm going through a rough time or feeling down, I like to put on some color to cheer myself up. But, with this look, in particular, it's not only the colors that gratified me, it was also the addition of my mom's old straw hat. She told me it was once her favorite and now that I've worn it a couple times I can see why. I think I might be catching the same feelings.
This is the first time that I've worn a shirt this open/low cut, and I liked it! I took this old men's striped button down and turned it into something a little sexier. As you all know, I really appreciate men's pieces that can easily be worn as womenswear. Speaking of old, these high waist vintage light pink trousers have been sitting in my closet for years. I've only worn them once before and kind of forgot about them since. But after staring at my closet and trying to find something different to wear they finally had a chance. They're extremely lightweight and perfect for this remaining summer weather, even transitioning into fall. Blush pink was hot on the NYFW Fall 17' runways and mixing a light pink with a blush pink could be a winning combination. #outfitidea
